Okay, so who is HoneyFlower Foods? 

WE believe that food should be good for your body, for our communities, for our planet, and for our future. Every part of our production process, from sourcing ingredients to selecting packaging to preparing and delivering meals is done in an ethical, planet-friendly, climate-conscious, and nutrition-focused way. WE also believe that food should be fun, so our meals are created with bold, bright, and flavorful ingredients that taste great and feel good.

What does it mean to Eat for the Future?

WE are driven by the mission to Eat for the Future. WE believe what we consume today should help create a better tomorrow - for ourselves, our communities, and our planet. WE’re sustainability fanatics, WE say no to plastics in all our packaging, WE maintain less than 1% food waste in our production process, and WE help fight hunger by donating 10% of our meals each week to our neighbors in need.

WE source ingredients that align with our Eat for the Future philosophy. This means WE choose ingredients that require less land and water to cultivate, produce quality calories, and are sustainably farmed, shipped, and stored.

Are all your meals plant-based?

Yes! All of our meals and snacks (and packaging!) are powered by plants.

Is your process zero waste?

WE have maintained less than 1% food waste for our three-year history, with the goal to get it down to 0%. WE continually update our process to find better ways to reduce waste.

What is your packaging made from?

Our packaging is made from PLA corn and commercial compostables. WE know there is a complicated conversation around compostables, facilities, processing, and what is truly most sustainable. WE believe that the end of life (100+ years) of commercial compostables is the best available option and WE believe that supporting the movement away from oil (yes, oil = plastic) and plastics is the most responsible and sustainable way forward.

Do you use certified organic ingredients?

We use organic in as many products as we can and are working toward being certified organic!

Is your packaging microwave-safe?

Our clear compostable items are heat-sensitive so we recommend transferring them to microwave-safe containers.
