Snack to the Future

The coronavirus pandemic has shaken up every aspect of our lives, including our relationship with food. Snacking has skyrocketed during quarantine, with people staying inside more, getting out less, and juggling more responsibilities at home.

According to the 15th Annual Food & Health Survey, 32% of respondents said they are snacking more than in pre-pandemic times, and snacking has even replaced meals at least some of the time for 38% of people surveyed.

Who doesn’t need a little ready-to-eat comfort food during days of endless Zoom meetings or distance learning with your kids?

But, as snacking habits keep climbing, health-consciousness has also kicked in. People are looking for healthful, nutritious snack options to combat the effects of sedentary lifestyles imposed by COVID-19. Dieting and health tracking have increased, and 54% of people care most about the healthfulness of what they eat (outpacing even taste and price).

And it’s not just healthy snacks people are looking for - plant-based, ethical, and waste-free options are in higher demand, too. This trend is especially true for younger people, who are looking to eat good food that’s good for the planet.

WE’re all for cutting-edge innovations in food, and our new snack line leads the category for nutrition and protein. Our crackers, chips and dips, and cracker bars are packed with 12 grams of protein, a wide range of healthy non-processed ingredients, and no sugar. Not only that, these knockouts are sustainably produced, plastic-free, and plant-powered. They’re great for on-the-go, in our soups and salads, or just because.

And, WE’re in good company. Check out our friends Rind Snacks, Bobo's, That’s It, and Liv Bar for even more options for your snack time needs!
